We were very pleased to receive a visit from staff members from Disa Primary School in Hout Bay on 21 July 2023. The ladies brought with them 75 'Jars of Hope' to hand out to the children. These jars contain the ingredients to make a large pot of soup for the family.
On 14 July 2023, our playground received a welcome upgrade from the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) who very kindly donated and installed two new swings and a jungle gym with a slide.
It was with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Michael Raggett on 23 November 2022. Michael was chairperson of the Management Committee from 2006 - 2021 and honorary president from 2021 - 2022. His support and commitment to the Educare Centre was greatly appreciated.
